Seit 2018 leitet Vera bei der VeggieWorld die Kommunikation. Ihre berufliche Laufbahn als Vollzeit-Veganerin begann 2014 bei ProVeg in Berlin. Dort leitete sie Projekte im Bereich Event- und Unternehmenskooperationen sowie das Klimaschutzprojekt KEEKS (Klima- und energieeffiziente Küche in Schulen) und wirkte als Teil des Senior Leadership Teams an den strategischen Entscheidungen der Organisation mit. Zuvor studierte sie Germanistik an der Universität zu Köln sowie berufsbegleitend Corporate Social Responsibility und Nachhaltige Entwicklung an der Universität Rostock.
